Tracey Baumann

Born and brought up in Zimbabwe, Tracey left Africa for foreign shores some 14 years ago. Always a member of the swimming and diving club team throughout her school career, she had secretly harboured a dream of becoming a swimming coach.

After living in Germany and starting a family she returned to England and began her coaching career - first as an ASA Level 2 qualified coach. She gained invaluable experience during the next 5 years, but still felt she had more to offer.

Tracey was introduced to the Total Immersion swimming method by a colleague, and it immediately caught her imagination. An arduous training regime followed, during which all her questions about problems she had encountered over the years of teaching were answered.

Once qualified as one of a small number of Total Immersion coaches, Tracey decided that the only way to be sure of having somewhere to coach would be to have her own pool. Her passion for passing on the TI methodology and an unsinkable entrepreneurial spirit came to the fore.

Tracey has since firmly established her own Endless Pool, located in Englefield Green.

The pool gives you state of the art, underwater video cameras, plus over-and under-water mirrors, which allow immediate in-session feedback and the opportunity for Tracey and you to look at your stroke together in a friendly, professional environment, without the distraction often caused by other swimmers in shared pools.

Total Immersion is about swimming naturally in a relaxed style. So, whether you’re a competitor looking for that edge, or a beginner wanting to dip your toe in the water, Tracey’s friendly enthusiasm and ability to pass on this knowledge in your own one-on-one session will put you at ease from the start, and set the tone for a whole new way of fish-like swimming.
